How to Throw a Classic Kids Halloween Party
Halloween party season is HERE and what better way to celebrate than getting the kids involved for their own Halloween party? Halloween parties are so special to me. I love the spooky vibes and the fun classic games that come along with them. Being able to share my love for Halloween with my kids is the best! I’ve thrown a handful of kids Halloween parties over the years, and now it’s time for me to share with you how to throw a classic kids Halloween party.
What is a Classic Kids Halloween Party?
When you think “Halloween party”, what comes to mind? For me, it’s the classics. Black and orange. Stripes. Bobbing for apples. Caramel apples. Spooky Halloween themed snacks, and of course, a fun costume dress code! I love a good classic Halloween party. When it comes to putting together a good kids Halloween party, I stick with those same ideals and just make sure everything is kid friendly!
What is Involved in a Classic Halloween Party?
In my eyes, the keys to a great classic Halloween party are:
Black and orange color theme
Spooky Halloween snacks
Costume dress code
Costume contest
Toilet paper mummy challenge game
The Ultimate Halloween music playlist
…and maybe even a kid friendly Halloween movie! (Think Hocus Pocus 1 & 2!)
