Island Time in the City with Jord Watches
Have you ever heard the term "Island Time"? It's a way of being, normally referring to setting your own pace, having nowhere to go fast, and truly embodying "fashionably late". I'm normally running around town from meeting to appointment to work and back again, so it's rare to have a day where I can be on Island time. Funny how getting a beautiful new watch and hanging out with a friend would be the precursor for such an experience.
The weather was absolutely beautiful. Here in Indy, we get the whole bunch-rain, sleet, snow, tornadoes, did I say rain and so on...all within a week...so days that give us sunny goodness are held close to our hearts. I started my day at 10:00am, which in any Mom's world with kids under 7, that's pretty much GOLD. After laying around for a while on this lazy Sunday, I went to meet up with friend and fellow blogger Martina to take a few shots for the blog. I was excited to show her my new arm candy, as we both love Jord Wood Watches, and admire the craftsmanship and modern feel of their beautiful watches. The packaging alone makes me feel like luxury!
With Mother's Day and my birthday both in May, I'm here for all the gifts! Lol. Seriously, what girl wouldn't love this watch?
