Fun 4th of July Looks for Every Plus Size Woman with Dia & Co.

Bring on the fireworks, food and fashion; the 4th of July is right around the corner! Each year I do my best to wear fun, festive looks that still capture my style while showing my USA pride. Wait…what is Dia & Co?
Dia & Co is a styling service that specializes in helping plus size women find the right looks from the comfort of their couch! That’s right- you go online, fill out a profile and find your favorite looks and add them to your first “Dia box”. You will be assigned a personal stylist who will study your profile and add a few pieces of their own to your box based on your preferences! Each month you will be sent 5 items to review and either purchase at a discount or send back. Yes…I said send back. You do not have to keep items you don’t love! Don’t worry about upsetting your Dia stylist- they want to get it right for YOU. Simply give feedback about what didn’t work so they can find the perfect pieces on your next box!
So now that I have you all pumped up for trying Dia & Co, let’s dive into a few faves from my latest Dia box! Recently I went LIVE on Dia’s Facebook page and unboxed my 4th of July inspired box. I had so much fun going through the looks with the amazing Dia community and I told them I would shoot my fave looks for style inspiration. Well loves, let’s dive right in with my fave look for the 4th of July Parade!
4th of July Look #1: Parade Style
Red and Blue never looked better together! Hit up that parade in style with the perfect 4th of July inspired dress!
WHY IT WORKS
This style shirt dress is easy-to-wear and perfect for any casual event. Throw it on and head out early in the morning to catch the parade. With short sleeves and bare legs, you’ll feel great all day long.
HOW I STYLED IT
I paired this dress with my fave nude sandals for a flirty casual look. This dress works well with tennis shoes too! I added white denim jacket for the chilly evening. Let’s face it…no one wants to watch the fireworks and feel cold! Lastly, I grabbed my infamous fanny pack (or belt bag if you wish) and completed my look. Now…to go on a hunt for a lemon shake up and make it the best day ever! Don’t forget to request this dress in your next Dia box!
4th of July Look #2: Family Holiday BBQ Style
Get a little bit fancy for your holiday get-together! Enjoy this fun floral maxi dress perfect for the 4th of July!
WHY IT WORKS
This look is timeless. The navy background of this effortless dress is the perfect backdrop for florals that remind me of fireworks! How cool is this dress!? Take it from day to night at your family BBQ and enjoy yourself without feeling restricted (tons of stretch). I also love the detailing around the neckline- subtle but still flirty. Now go so do the electric slide with your Great Aunt in peace , girl! This dress can move!
HOW I STYLED IT
Again, I can’t stress the importance of having a nude show in your wardrobe. They go with everything and help to keep the attention on the maxi dress! I added another one of my treasures- this super cute blue bag I got in a previous Dia box. Can you tell I love them? Serious lifesavers when you don’t have time to shop. 4th of July Look #3: Date Night By the Fireworks Style
Don’t mind me…I’m just enjoying the stars and this bomb striped dress! Perfect for a date night during the 4th of July!
WHY IT WORKS
This dress is an absolute stunner. It’s lightweight and breezy; perfect for work or a girls night out, it also is a perfect option for an evening out with your love. Indy natives: Imagine a stroll around the canal in this bomb dress while the fireworks light up the sky. Just magical. Grab this one in your next Dia box!
HOW I STYLED IT
This dress is so cute I didn’t want to overpower it with a lot of accessories. I added these super fun tassel earrings I picked up while I was visiting “Mom Heaven” (Target). Again, I kept my shoes nude so the boldness of this dress really took center stage. I opted for no bag with this look, but would suggest a small red clutch if you have to have a bag. Hey, I get it…we have to put our lipstick somewhere ladies. Here are a few of my fave red clutch bags to choose from, plus my fave bag that I promised I would link from above.
