How I Styled a $15 Day Dress

Let's face facts; it's not unusual to see a $1-3 price hike for clothing in a 1x vs. a xl. When you add all those *oops I had to have it* trips to the mall up, you are left with quite a hefty bill. You guys....shopping while plus can be an expense, so when Meijer dropped a marketing campaign to include all sizes together, in affordable prices, I had to check it out.

To be completely honest, I've never really shopped at Meijer. I have a Target and a Kroger around the corner from me, so I didn't have a need to venture out....until this campaign. I was intrigued! What was the setup going to be like? Who would model the clothes? Ahem...let's get all the way real with full transparency- would I even like the styles at Meijer? Are they going to be fashion-forward, or dated? Nevertheless, I had to check it out...and I was so surprised to find several looks I loved, most under $30. Not one to shy away from a sale rack, I checked out this day dress...it was 40% off...making it $14.99. #SOLD

I mean, for $15, look at the beautiful detail on this dress! I love a bright color and this dress didn't disappoint. I kept my accessories simple with matching yellow bracelets and earrings. I threw on a simple flat sandal I snagged on sale for $12 at Target (y'all I love Target). It's perfect for a garden party, summer wedding or just a fun girls day out!
