Building a Capsule Wardrobe with Flair: My First Dia Style Edit

What is a capsule wardrobe?
Ideally, a capsule wardrobe is a few sets of essential items that really never go out of style and can be integrated into seasonal looks. For my first style edit, I wanted to find items that felt essential but offered a little more flair. I even put them into 5 effortlessly chic looks for you! Let’s dive into them!
#1 SPARKLE AND SHINE BABY
Who says wearing sequins is just for holidays? I try adding wow pieces to my wardrobe that I can easily dress up or down. I loved pairing this great sequins top with moto pants and a leopard jacket for a cool and edgy look! Also, notice the arm length- perfect for my curvy girls wanting to show just a hint of arms. What a perfect top for layering or wearing alone! What are you waiting for?
#2 Black and White is Anything but Basic
Classic. Feminine. Bold. This is the go-to dress you have to add to your wardrobe. It hugs you in all the right places, but keeps you covered enough for several occasions. I wanted you to have a dress that took you from the office to happy hour and from the boardroom to date night. The “belt” in the middle of the dress really sets it off, don’t you think?
#3 The Purr-fect Sweater/Skirt Set
Red and tiger stripes? Yes, ma’am. I fell in love with the print before I even touched the fabric. This unbelievable sweater/skirt set combo commands attention. Sweater sets are so trending these days and I can’t get enough of them. Wear it together or apart, there are so many possibilities for these pieces!
#4 Winter White, but Make it Edgy
Like I stated before, I am here for the moto trend. These gray denim moto pants pair so nicely with the SOFTEST Winter white sweater you’ll ever own. I love that it’s off the shoulder too! Perfect for cozy nights in with hot cocoa or a fab night out with the girls. Show a little should and get your life, girlfriend!
#5 An Unlikely Marriage
Most people wouldn’t consider paring a gold fuzzy sweater with a pleated skirt but BABY…it WORKS! This textured look is a clear choice for holiday events, but oh-so-perfect for the girl who wants to add a little flair to her wardrobe for later. I can totally see myself rocking this sweater with jeans or this skirt with a great graphic tee, can’t you? #WardrobeStaples
