Happy 4th! Time for having bbq's and sharing beers with great friends. Yes, Independence Day is almost here! Now, I'm not necessarily the poster-child for super casual looks...so for this Holiday...I'm not either! Ha. You gotta know yourself, right? I'm expressing my own Independence boo!
Getting into the patriotic mood was easy with these 3 pieces costing me $50 total! This look is perfect for a dressier day event! The texture on the dress adds interest, and makes it look like it cost more than $22. I added this cute star bag for a great pop of color (and because it's freaking adorable).

I've never really entertained patriotic colors as a styling tool. I LOVE red, but just recently started loving blue, and embracing white as a great neutral. Let's be honest, white was not an option when my kids were super small...nope.
I love what are flag colors stand for, and feel thy resonate with my personality. I persevere daily. In life, their are many obstacles to get you off your path, but I stay vigilant. Looks like I really connect with blue :) Do you?
