The Bag Makes It
So, I had this tulle skirt that I had been dying to wear...(praise the plus size goddesses who made it fashionable to wear tulle over 12 years old). I knew I wanted to do a simple, body hugging top so I didn't look frumpy, and found this cute striped number from Eloquii wayyy back in my closet. I like the contrast of black and white, and felt this combo kept my look youthful and fun, but not immature.
Accent colors can really bring your look to life. I opted for neon pink. I thought it would be a great addition to my neutral outfit. I got this cool satchel bag at Target. Not only is it super affordable (less than $40 bucks), it comes in many colors if pink isn't your thing. Tip: When it comes to trendy accessories, don't spend a lot of money, as they may only be hot for a season or two...invest in classics!
Oh! I have another style tip! Let your makeup accentuate your look too! Too Faced makes a melted lipstick that I love and it comes in many bright shades, like this pink. The smallest details help take a look to the next level y'all! You can check out the post of my top lipsticks here.
How do you add a pop of color to your black and white looks? Let me know!
Enjoy today! xoxo- Sierra
