A Walk in the Woods
“I took a walk in the woods, and came out taller than the trees”
There is something to be said about being in nature...sometimes I need this change of scenery.
So, as I was getting ready for this photo shoot, I did not think we would be in the woods...at all...lol. My amazing photographer always finds the best spots though, so when she said lets go in the woods, it was a no brainer. Standing there, in my four inch heels, waiting for her to set up, I looked around...and took in my surroundings. It was quiet, but incredibly alive. That got me thinking...Do I ever get quiet enough to feel alive?

Life can get busy and noisy if you let it. It's nice to self-check sometimes and remember it is OK to be quiet...and in fact, a necessity. When you take those moments to yourself to reflect on the past, assess the present, and process for the future- BABE! Magic happens. So do me a favor and take a walk in the woods...and get as quiet as you can.
Now, this outfit...YASSSSS! Lol. I hardly ever wear denim, but when Ashley Nell Tipton dropped this line with JCPenney I had to try this jegging. Guess what? They are pull-on! Yep! no buttons or zippers to fool around with :) *Styling tip: this kind of pant is great on us apple shaped beauties, as we typically have slimmer legs and a wider waist. Ya'll know I like to mix prints and fabrics so adding black and white stripes with olive and gold was an easy decision to make. Here's a closer look at my accessories and flair ;).
