Hazy Days
What a day! So ready to curl up on the couch and binge watch Netflix. Some weeks just feel longer than others, you know? I mean, there are some days that seem fuzzy--take forever to get through--and leave you exhausted on the other end. So in honor of my crazy hazy day, I am posting one of my outfits that fit the vibe.
I find, sometimes on hazy days, you just have to let go. I take it as a warning sign that life has gotten too hectic and my mind can't keep up. Time to slow down...take a walk...regroup. We get so caught up in everything, don't we?
As for the outfit: The dress that I picked up from Maurices is a heavier material, making it perfect for Fall. I could see this with pattern tights too! The cold-shoulder is soooo in right now, so I has to represent that trend. I kept the accessories simple with a long pendant necklace (from Lane Bryant) and earrings. Adding a denim vest gave it personality and the short booties gave it that MidWest touch...haha.
Seriously, with the florals all around me, natural stone jewelry and my vintage shades? So cute :) Now the humidity though...not so cute.
I love the mixed tones of metal on this necklace. Goes with everything!
