African Chic

What a rainy day! All I wanted to do was set off fireworks with the kids- I mean, it is Independence Day weekend! Alas, that wasn't going to happen. Anyway,  when it rains, throw on a color tribal outfit! I think that's how the saying goes...

I picked up this African-inspired tunic while on vacay at a market in New Orleans. I was drawn to the bright pink throughout it. I paired it with the most amazing jeans I have EVER worn that I got from Forever 21...for $24 dollars! They have the best stretch and sit so close to the body, giving me the shape I need! Styling Tip: when wearing a bright color on top, pair it with a dark, solid bottom. Finish the look with a fun heel to keep it sassy ;) Just a fun outfit to combat this drab weather! But hey, it could always be worse :)
