Leather Works Series-Rocker Chic
Yaaaaaas for cooler weather and of course, Leather! Always a hot trend for Fall and Winter, I've decided to do a series over the next 4 weeks bringing you a trendy leather look each Monday. I'm excited to show you all the different looks I'm pulling together for all personality types :).
First up: Rocker Chic. For the girl who wants to add a little edge to her wardrobe, but still keep it funky and feminine, this is for you! I had the pleasure of attending the Curvature Fashion Show in Indy Sunday night and it was phenomenal! I will be doing a post on my fave looks from that show later this week. (So come back!) To get in the spirit of Curvy Girl Bad Ass-ness, I knew I needed a look that spoke to my fierce side. When I saw this jacket, it was a no-brainer. Bring on the Rocker-Chic.
Mixing metals is fun and totally ok. Gold and rose gold can slay side by side.
Garnished with rose-gold hardware, this jacket is everything! The top portion is faux-leather and the bottom is chiffon. I mean, seriously? This is femme fatal people. I added a body chain for drama when I opened the jacket, and gold circle disc earrings I spied while rummaging through Target...as usual...I should probably do a post about that too...lol
We all have a little Rocker Chic in us...use your accessories to help you bring it out!
To top off the accessory list, I had to add this studded leather wallet that I THRIFTED! Yep, that's right. I picked it up for $7! It's the perfect size bag to take to an event...and later makes a great oversized wallet for my satchel bag. I also threw on a pair of leopard booties that I have been waiting to wear this season. Add a pair of ripped up jeans and BAM! Fierceness from head to toe!
